Dentures

Dentures are a custom-made replacement that restores the appearance and oral functions of teeth. Many patients suffer with ill-fitting and loose dentures that move or even fall out when speaking or eating. This is why General Dentistry Centers makes sure that your dentures perfectly fit you. We provide many denture options to cater to what you feel most comfortable with.

Precision Partials

Precision partial dentures take the place of a few teeth and prevent others from changing position. With interlocking components, these dentures fit snugly into or onto the receiving area or projection of a natural tooth that has been crowned. This makes for anti-slip dentures that won’t move or fall out when you speak or chew.

Immediate Dentures

elderly-denturesAn immediate denture is placed in the mouth after the extraction of your natural teeth. This provides you with confidence and reassurance while your gums heal.

Flexible Partials

Made from the latest technology in thermoplastic resins, flexible partials are very comfortable. These dentures are virtually invisible as there are no telltale metal clasps.

Suction Cup Dentures

A suction-cup denture utilizes a series of tiny suction cups made from a soft silicone rubber that gently adheres to the oral tissue without irritation, leaving your gums comfortable and relaxed. They are primarily used for maxillary and mandibular restorations, and for patients with flat ridges. What’s great about these is that if you choose to convert your existing dentures to the suction-cup variety, it can be done easily and efficiently.

Over Denture

An over denture fits on top of natural teeth or dental implants. Many patients are choosing our over denture mini implants as old dentures can often be retrofitted to the implant.

Denture Resorption

The transition to dentures can cause wear and tear on your jawbone. We are dedicated to preventing any bone loss that can leave your options limited. That’s why we offer dental implants to help stop bone loss.

Partial Dentures

Using clasps or attachments to hold these in place, partial dentures can also be removed easily for cleaning, allowing for a comfortable fit around neighboring teeth for a natural look and a more confident you.

Full Arch Implants

Depending on your dental treatment, full arch implants may be necessary. These implants are placed to accept a full arch of teeth. This arch is removable, yet functions like a full set of normal teeth.
